Many thanks for an excellent day last saturday, I will be buying a pruning saw and then to work. I have been looking at the trees for the past few days and I have a plan.I had a glass of cider on saturday evening and thought I must go on your cider making day hopefully if I have some apples to use. I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your fruit tree pruning workshop in Plean walled garden recently. Although I have been pruning Apple trees for 20 years plus its great to be kept up to speed. I hope to enjoy further hands on workshops in the future, and may encourage our local gardening club to employ you to give them a half day workout if you are up for it.

This was very interesting mix of reading and practical work which gave me a better idea of how to grow and maintain herbs.

I've had wonderful feedback about your pruning workshop and the talk in the afternoon. Everyone was really excited about getting something going in our lovely town.

Lots of lovely details, enthusiasm, gems of information, brilliant. Need to hear it all again though to take it in… And amazing lunch!

Margaret is such a great teacher, I could have listened to her all weekend.
Although she is clearly a fountain of knowledge (and passion) on apples and many other fruits, at no point did you feel lectured too and she seemed genuinely interested in learning from other people’s experiences. A great mix of hands-on action, group work and sitting listening.

I learnt so much more than I expected to about all kinds of different things.
